Qualifications:

If you meet the above criteria AND have a 2.95 GPA or higher, you will likely qualify at the GS-7 level.

This position starts at the GS-7 level with promotion potential to the GS-12.

Economic Research Internship

The Irish Consulate in Chicago is currently seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful intern to conduct research and produce regular reports on economic issues.
 
The Irish Consulate is the diplomatic office of the Irish Government in Chicago and also has responsibility for Irish relations with 20 States of the Midwest and the South.
 
The research internship would be focused on the current and evolving economic issues in the US and would be open to either a senior who has a business/economics background or an MBA level student. There will be no remuneration for this internship.

The successful applicant would report directly to the Consul General and would be required to undergo routine background checks before commencing the internship.

SEA is seeking a part-time Associate Data Analyst to work with the Energy Management team. The Associate Data Analyst will assist with data entry, data analysis, and quantitative reporting. Candidates should have a passion for—and/or a strong desire to learn about—the energy industry and sustainability. The ideal candidate will be a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in economics, environmental science, or another field with a quantitative focus. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access is a strong plus.
